Lavender Honey Lotion Bar

• 2 tablespoons beeswax
• 4 tablespoons coconut oil
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 tsp honey
• 2-4 drops Young Living Lavender essential oil

In a double boiler, melt together beeswax and coconut oil in a small bowl until combined.
Add in olive oil, honey, and lavender essential oil and mix to combine.
Pour mixture into a silicone mold or lined muffin tin. Yields 1 mini bar.
Put in fridge and let harden for 1+ hours.
Remove bar from mold and enjoy!

    1. It can be a bit tricky. There are several things you can try: (1) try increasing the heat while giving a good whip (not too much or it will become a glob), (2) adding a small amount of an emulsifier can help (note, it may change the color a bit) such as sunflower lecithin or xanthan gum, (3) try swapping the olive oil for jojoba oil (jojoba can act as an emollient, which can help bind the ingredients together better), or (4) add in a teaspoon of shea butter with the honey.

      Absolutely, just look up a list of carrier oils to use for making lotion bars and you can substitute any of those that fit your requirements.
