How To: Add Text to the Mini Flyer

We created a video to walk you through the process of adding text to your mini flyer using PicMonkey’s FREE service.


Make the mini-flyer even better by adding a strip of “peel and stick” magnet to the top of the flyer. This allows people to quickly put the flyer on their fridge for easy reference.

  2. Love this idea, but for printing at home, this is a TON of black ink!

    1. Please see the post — this flyer was not designed for printing at home — it was designed to print as a 4×6 photo. Wal-Mart, for example, prints 4×6 photos for only NINE cents each! With ink and paper, one would be hard-pressed to print this design for less than that at home.

    2. So I order the flyers from Shutterfly, add my own info with PicMonkey they are delivered and then I stick them on top of the magnets I ordered from Amazon? Is that right?

      1. You will want to add your info using PicMonkey first — then order via Shutterfly — that way they are printed with your info already on them. You cannot add your info, after they are printed with PicMonkey but I think you just stated that backwards.

        Those magnets will last you a LONG time. You only need to cut into strips. We get about 4-5 strips from each card-sized magnet. Cut, remove paper and stick to the backside of the flyer at the very top. You can put one strip on the top and one on the bottom so it does not “fly up” but that is up to you. We’ve done it both ways. I prefer one up and one down for flyers. They are great for business cards because you can turn it long ways, cut into about 6-8 strips and place a small strip on the back of your business card to hand to people, as well. Love those magnets!

  3. I had 200 printed through shutterfly and they came out too blurry to read. 😩😩 What did I do wrong

    1. Because we are not on your end and did not see how you added your info, etc. There is really no way to answer this question, sorry. We’ve had a lot of members print them with no issues. The print is going to be small but the image is definitely not blurry, as is. Any number of things could have gone wrong when adding contact information to the image. If you feel the image you submitted was not blurry then contact Shutterfly and ask for a refund. It could have been something on their end.
