My Oily Game: Name that Scent
Here is another way to “spice” up your next meeting and/or class/event! My Oily Game: Name that Scent.
Here’s how you prep for the game — take 10-20 condiment containers (or whatever small container you desire), place one cotton ball in each container. Now gather a piece of paper and pen/pencil, you will want to carefully keep good notes as you create the scent in each container.
Label each container — you can do this straight on with a permanent marker, or use decorative “washi” tape and write on the tape with a permanent marker, or use a label making device . . . endless ways to label each container. We used decorate “washi” tape and a fine tip permanent marker. Go ahead and label each container with a letter or number (your choice).
Now, on your paper, write down each of your letter/numbers from each label. Add 1-2 drops of oil to a cotton ball, write down the name of that oil and be sure you are writing it beside the correct label for that container.
Continue that process until you have labeled, dropped, and noted each container.
